FAQ Antarctica WBC Electric

What is the Antarctica WBC Electric chamber?

It’s our walk-in electric whole body cryotherapy chamber, where cold breathable air circulates around the client’s entire body, including the neck and head, something the open-head electric and nitrogen units can’t do.

How cold does the Antarctica WBC Electric get?

Basit versiyon -80°C'ye kadar ulaşır (-112°F) on a single compressor, and the Grand version reaches -110°C (-166°F) on dual compressors, making the Grand configuration the coldest fully electric chamber we build.

What does Turbo mode do on this chamber?

Turbo mode raises fan speed to intensify the cold sensation on the skin at the same air temperature, giving clients a stronger response without pushing the compressor to a lower set point.

What cooling system options are available?

You can choose air cooling, water cooling, or a water chiller setup, and each has its own room requirements. Air cooling needs a minimum room size of about 15 m² (150 sq ft) with strong fresh air exchange, water cooling needs plumbing and a minimum of about 12 m² (120 sq ft), and chiller setups need outside space for the unit itself.

How much power does cryotherapy device use?

The Simple version runs a single compressor up to 25A per phase at 8.5 kWh, and the Grand version runs dual compressors up to 30A per phase at 12.5 kWh, both on three-phase 400V/50Hz or 208V/60Hz power.

How much space does cryotherapy device need?

The Simple version measures 1870 mm (73 in) in length, and the Grand version measures 2230 mm (86 in), both at 1105 mm width and 2292 mm height, before accounting for the room clearances each cooling option requires.

How long does precooling take?

Up to 60 minutes before the first session, the same precooling window as our other electric chambers, and sessions run consecutively after that without further delay.

Why choose the WBC Electric over the Antarctica Electric?

bu Antarktika WBC Elektrik covers the head and neck inside the cold zone, which the open-head Antarctica Electric doesn’t do, so it engages more of the body’s cold receptors in a single session with full-head cryotherapy exposure. The tradeoff is a more involved installation, since every cooling option needs specific room dimensions and ventilation.

Are sound and lighting options available?

Yes, sounds and projector lights are available as optional additions, letting studios build a more immersive session for clients on top of the core cold air therapy.

Does installation vary by cooling type?

Yes, considerably. Air cooling needs a vent-out fan and rubber waterproof flooring, water cooling needs a plumbed water and drain line with a minimum flow rate, and a chiller setup needs outdoor space and its own power line, so we review your building with you before confirming a configuration.
